Take the next step…become the Rotary leader your Club and District needs!

Rotary Leaders of Tomorrow

The District Leadership Academy is a seven-month advanced education program for those interested in learning more about Rotary, looking to participate in future leadership positions and to find more effective ways to conduct Rotary work — within clubs or in District service.

First-Rate Curriculum

The Academy’s curriculum is developed by a trained and knowledgeable group of Rotarians. The curriculum is designed for participants to gain/expand in-depth Rotary knowledge, develop leadership skills, identify areas for club improvements, and interact with other Rotarians. The program will give participants the opportunity and perspectives to serve and effect positive change.

Experienced Speakers

Each month there will be Zoom meetings with Rotarian subject matter experts drawn from across the district. They include past governors, assistant governors, other district leaders and Rotarians with professional experience in their specific course topic. Topics will include: Rotary Leadership, Communications, Leading a Healthy Club, Membership, External Communications & Public Image, Leading Projects, Grants and The Rotary Foundation, and Leading Change.

Convenient Online Learning

All courses are taught online using Canvas and Zoom, the same platforms used by many colleges and universities. In our first topic area, Introduction to DLA, we will become familiar with using these platforms. Most of the class work will be online at your own pace, with live Zoom meetings held twice a month.
